Connexxion’s bus 391 runs four times an hour between Amsterdam Centraal railway station and the Zaanse Schans via Zaandam all year round. Furthermore, the Express bus 891 can take you directly from Amsterdam Centraal railway station to the Zaanse Schans in only twenty minutes during the summer and Christmas holidays.

This combined ticket makes it easy for you to decide when you want to visit the Zaanse Schans and for how long. It grants you one day of unlimited travel on all of Connexxion’s bus lines within the Zaan region. You could also visit the Tsar Peter House in the centre of Zaandam.

The Zaans Museum was founded in 1998 on the Zaanse Schans to guard and preserve the Zaan heritage.

The Hembrug Museum tells the story of the arms and ammunition factory that was located on the Hembrugterrein in Zaandam.

In 1697, the Russian Tsar Peter the Great stayed in this world-famous house in the center of Zaandam.
