About the museum
The Tsar Peter House is an annex of the Zaans Museum. Together with the Hembrug Museum, these three museums form one single organization that safeguards the rich history of the Zaan region.
Director
Director and curator Farida Guseynova is our rock at the Tsar Peter House. She warmly welcomes all visitors. On the days that Farida is not working, her colleagues take over the reins.

The Hembrug Museum tells the story of the arms and ammunition factory that was located on the Hembrugterrein in Zaandam.
In 1697, the Russian Tsar Peter the Great stayed in this world-famous house in the center of Zaandam.
